Angela was so helpful and sweet- she took her time and made me feel 100% sure that my fur baby was in excellent care. Even though he was deceased. I enjoyed our conversation. I highly recommend Homeward Bound for that difficult last service for your pet. Johnny was very accomodating with our schedule and stayed in touch via text so we could make it there before close. It is hard saying goodbye to a beloved dog, which we have had to do more than once unfortunately, but it is nice to know that there is a good place like Homeward Bound to help. Their prices are very good and the scattering tubes and tags are really cute. We also got the paw prints and are very pleased. Thank you Homeward Bound for a great service at a great price!

My mother's dog passed away on Dec 23rd. I took him to Homeward Bound on Xmas eve and the employees were very supportive and kind to our situation. While the event was extremely sad, I was very please with the Homeward Bound Pet Memorial experience. I highly recommend.

Johnny came to our house and picked up our Sweet Girl Greta around 7:30 on the night she had passed. He was very kind and compassionate given the state I, especially, was in. He was always very prompt at communicating and taking care of any of my requests. I highly recommend this service if you unfortunately need them, since it's such a sad time. Our girl was ready to come back home to us in one week and I fully trusted Johnny with taking care of her during the week she was gone. Thanks Johnny!

My name is Susan, I have a slew of pets. Each and every one is a member of the family. I'm very sentimental and prefer to keep the remains of my pets because I rent. The general public needs a pet cremation service that is not only affordable but is also very conscientious. Difficult jobs are often met with a bit of callousness. I would NEVER think that at all about Homeward Bound, they seem truly appreciative to have your business and actually see the pets as individuals. Very friendly .

I'm so thankful for Homeward Bound's services and Johnny. I had to say goodbye to my horse FlyBoy who I had for over 22 years. Before Homeward Bound my only options were to call a rendering service or just have his head, heart and hooves cremated. I'm was so happy that Homeward Bound was able and willing to cremate his entire body. He was a wonderful horse and part of my family who deserved a proper burial. Johnny was so kind and understanding and communicated all my options to me. He then drove 60 miles to pick him up and took him back to Indianapolis. Part of FlyBoy's remains are now in a beautiful box urn with his name and picture sketched into the wood and the rest were given in a tote since he was a pretty big boy. Thanks to Johnny and Homeward Bound I know he was properly cared for and I am very grateful.

My dog Harley was hit by a car on September 12th. I wasn’t expecting to lose an animal anytime soon so I hadn’t been saving for it. I asked my mom for help and she found Homeward Bound Pet Memorial. They had many options in terms of pricing and memorabilia for Harley. When we called before bringing him in a nice man got everything ready and was waiting for us to arrive. He was very kind and took his time making sure we didn’t walk away with any questions about how everything would happen day by day until we got Harley back. When we told him we had a little girl who loved Harley and would miss him he brought a book to help her understand what was happening. He in no way rushed the conversation and actually explained how the business came to be. My husband was very torn about leaving Harley anywhere until we talked with the man. He made us confident about our decision and let us know he would take good care of Harley for the next few days. He was respectful and I honestly didn’t expect much more than signing papers before I got there. I strongly recommend this business to anyone that loses a pet. The people that run and own this business not only care about the animals, but they care about the people because they know what it’s like to lose a furry family member. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Had to put my Boy Blue down on Monday, called Monday evening and spoke to Johnny. He made me feel so much better about the whole process. A little ease off a broken heart and shattered soul. He made Blues Obituary and posted it online and had my boy picked up by Tuesday. He sent a simple text to let me know he had Blue, which I was beyond grateful for. I am at peace knowing he was at his final resting place in the caring hands of Johnny. He worked with me changing my mind on what package and always responded right back to any question I had! Johnny what you did for me these last few days I will never forget and will always be grateful!!! I lost my best friend and the one who saved my life that Monday and you helped me and guided me in the right direction when I was so lost. I will never forget your kindness. Great customer service! Johnny was very accommodating to our schedules for picking up a very large python we were devastated to lose & weren’t sure if we’d find anyone to cremate her given she’s not your typical pet. Although they hadn’t cremated a large python before, they were willing to take it on. Prices were good in comparison to other businesses in the area. They were finished in a timely manner and the presentation of the ashes given back was beautiful enough on its own if you couldn’t afford an additional cost for a fancy keepsake.

Words can not be said that truly says what I’m feeling. I can say that the sudden loss of my sweet baby boy blue Brantley, is overbearing my daily functions. I feel has if I can’t breathe without him. :(. That being said I want to thank Johnny at home ward bound for the tinder, kind hearted, caring words and seeing the sadness in my eyes. Somehow he made me feel as if he too lost Brantley.. that helped my broken heart knowing I brought him to the best place. My sweet baby boy blue Brantley was my world! My life seems upside down without him in it. Johnny was absolutely amazing in taking in my boy with caring loving arms. He made me feel like He had lost him too. He had so much compassion and I truly feel like he could feel my pain, my broken heart, my loss. I’m truly greatful for his demeanor and care. I felt the trust in an instant. The pain I feel is speechless words, but yet grateful for the care Brantley received to reach the Rainbow Bridge!!! I had to put my dog Riley down very suddenly last year. I had no idea where to turn to when it came to having her cremated or even the protocol of how things happened. I called Homeward Bound from a referral and they could not have been nicer. The experience of losing such an amazing friend was traumatic but the staff here really went above and beyond. I had them pick her up from the vets office and then a few days later I was able to pick up her ashes and some other momentos. I highly recommend as many precious keepsakes as possible....as they will truly mean everything in the passing days and even years. It’s been a year since I lost my sweet girl but I’m so thankful I had Carrie and staff to bring my baby home 🐾❤️

We had a dog a short time. He was much older than we thought when we got him . Regardless we fell in love with him and he was part of our family . Carrie treated us with the utmost respect . She treated Peyton with respect also .I can not express our gratitude . It was nice to have him back home in less than one week after he left us. Thank you again for all of your kindness .

I am very thankful that Carrie was as nice as she was. I lost one of my best friends a few days ago..Although the time was really rough for me the staff at homeward bound pet memorial was very kind. Even after my schedule and unexpected times interfered with theirs they did not show me any frustration or anger. The price was affordable and the scattering tube is very cute. It is still a very difficult time for me and I often look at the tube and get very mixed feelings. It is nice to have Konrad back at home though. All the feelings I have felt these past few days are a little lighter now because he is back home with me.. Carrie was very nice..even when I brought my pet in and I was thinking I would be rushed out the door she invited me in to spend more time with him..she even helped me find his head through the body bag so I could give him one last kiss. They really worked hard to make our situation less stressful, they were understanding, patient and offered us all the time we needed in their office to spend with our sweet Baby. We never felt rushed, the turnaround time was extremely fast (literally 1 business day for us), and they were very affordable, less than 1/2 the cost of our vet's office. Highly recommended!

Homeward Bound came through so wonderfully for us again. Our very dear alpaca, Jackson, died suddenly this week. There he lay, in the barn, and a llama was lying on top of him! We had never known camelids to show mourning, but now we know they can. When Bob went to pick Jackson up, he counseled the 3 grandchildren who were there and was so very kind and calm. Such gentleness and professional care makes such a difference in saying goodbye.

Our heart is broken since a part of our family is now missing. Rocky was our friend and protector. The loss of a part of your family is one of the most difficult things you experience. Colleen, Jane and Chris gave the support, knowledge, empathy, and great respect we needed to endure this painful moment. Homeward Bound helped tremendously with this experience. Special thanks to Colleen who treated Diefenbaker with a level of respect and care that was phenomenal. Knowing that Dief was given such wonderful attention and was treated so well during this last journey was wonderful, it was what she deserved. My father and I appreciated everything that was done for us during this difficult time. They obviously understand and adore pets. I would recommend their services to anyone who ends up in these unfortunate circumstances as well.
