Tonka Beans Tidd
Tonka was born under a front porch in Lubbock, Texas, and adopted in May 1996 while I was a fresmman in college. She would help me study by sitting on my books underneath the warm desk lamp.
After college, we moved to Fort Worth where Tonka would always greet me at the door when I would come home from work. She would talk non-stop, telling me all about her day. Then we would snuggle on the couch while she got her belly rubbed and she would sleep under my arm every night. I love those memories. She then moved in with her Grammie when I moved overseas. Grammie and Tonka became inseparable, so when I moved back to the states 5 years later, Tonka stayed with her Grammie, who spoiled her rotten, until her last day.
Tonka loved q-tips, straws, tape, flip flops, butt smacks, belly rubs, and of course, boxes. I will never forget the way she “yelled” at me or her loud purrs. I will miss her voice.
For 19 years, Tonka made my heart smile. And my heart will smile every time I think of ther.

Welcome Tonka Beans as you cross the rainbow bridge-you were an awesome friend and family member during your time on earth- you loved and were loved very much and as you can see you are missed greatly but the memories you made are everlasting= run free with me today and be forever young

I am so very sorry about the lose of your very special friend, companion and a BIG part of you. I read the obit for Tonka today after I got home. You did a very nice job, Tidge. The picture of her in the box is priceless.
