Toby entered his new body and traveled to the Rainbow Bridge on Monday evening. He was surrounded with love and was touched by the Angels as he was shown Grace and Mercy from our wonderful Jesus. Toby leaves behind many brothers and sisters and his human mama who worried and fussed over him until he out grew his earthy body. Toby had a feisty spirit and was wiser than his years. He was a gentle giant with the longest legs. He loved to nip at your finger if you even tried to touch his face, he was not afraid to let you know that he was not going to have it. In fact while he was in the hospital they tagged his cage with bitter and it actually took a couple to treat him ( I was a little proud of that spunk) He enjoyed laying on his bed, riding in the car, looking out the window, and getting warmth from his baby doll. His true passion was his best friend in the whole world, Ms. Lilly. He loves her and she loves and misses him. Toby found his forever home in 2006, he was a kitten that someone left on my porch with a can of cat food. He soon turned into a permanent part of the family. I can still hear the running up and down the stairs. Toby was always healthy, but in the middle of Dec, 2016 he was diagnosed with Kidney failure. Toby fought and I fought with him. We made Lemonade, and lots of it. We prayed, and cried and fussed and worried and prayed some more. The Lord did give us a miracle, he took Toby home after a short illness and did not allow him, nor I to suffer. We will truly miss Toby, his beautiful black hair, his sleek frame and the look of an Egyptian cat, his unnecessary biting, his warm leg rubs, long legs, the sound of his meow and the continuous playing between him and his bestie.
Run free Toby, you deserve to sit near the water and day dream about the day I will stop and pick you up and travel on to Heaven.

Toby, Grandy is sure going to miss you. I am so glad that we did finally get a chance to spend sometime together. You are a beautiful boy!

So sorry for your loss. Your writing on your precious fur baby was beautiful. I am so sorry your heart is broken right now. We lost one too, Kittano from the same terrible disease. We both have babies wait for us. What a beautiful tribute you made for your Egyptian Prince. So heart felt almost like I knew him.
