Piper

Piper came into my life as a 2 week old puppy around 15 years ago. He was with me throughout my time in middle school, high school, undergraduate school, and graduate school.

He was by my side through everything a child goes through. He was with me through all my break ups and make ups from high school and on.

When I moved away for college, Piper patiently awaited to move back in with me after I moved out of the dorm rooms. My (at the time) new partner and I welcomed him into the home we shared and we have lived happily that way for 5 years. Piper moved up the country with us. He had his first snowy winter with us. He got a new brother and a sister with us.

We watched so many people fall in love with him the way we did. Piper never ever lost his personality. He was sick a lot the last year of his life, but he was still our spunky, grumpy, stinky little man. We loved him to the ends of the Earth. We will miss him every day.

Piper, you brought a lot of joy to a lot of people, honey. You were there through it all.
