Peanut became a part of the family over 20 years ago, as a birthday present for a five year old little girl, Mackenzie. She was not the first or last child to have loved and learned from Peanut but she made sure he had a forever place in her heart. Throughout her life Peanut taught her patience, kindness, discipline, friendship and unconditional love. He was her secret keeper, best friend, and partner in crime.
Words can’t begin to describe how much joy Peanut brought to all those who knew him. From the many children he taught, to the adults who received his snuggles. He touched the hearts of everyone he met, young and old. He just had a way of infecting those in his presence with smiles and giggles.
Now that is not to say that Peanut didn’t have an ornery side, he was a true escape artist. Nobody can say how many times he tried to make a run for it, throw his rider, or drag them over to that patch of grass. Of course, it was in the most adorable way possible. Peanut taught you how to never give up, always get back up, try again and back in the saddle.
Peanut will be missed by those who loved him always, but it was his time. He spent his last day pain free, and with all the love in the world. We hope he is flying high in the clouds, running through the fields and enjoying all the bright red apples he can fit in his little tummy.
Thank you, Peanut. Thank you for sharing your light. Thank you for sharing your love. Thank you for all that you gave to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing you.
❤️❤️❤️Note from the family: Thank you to all of those who loved him, helped care for him and brought joy (aka sugar free cookies) into his life. It takes a village, and Mr. Peanut was very lucky to have you all.
