Lilly was the oldest dog of the family. She was this little runt puppy picked out of a small litter just before Christmas 2005. Over the years, Lilly took training of simple commands like sit, shake, other shake, lay down, and roll over so well. Lilly was well behaved and could be outside without a leash. Lilly was a well-behaved dog that brought over 12 years of joy to her family. Her loss is felt deeply. Lilly is remembered for being in the footage of her human brother’s first steps. Lilly was the first to alert when a stranger was near the house and even sometimes when the air just blew the wrong way. Her bark will forever be missed in our home. She loved to follow us around the kitchen to investigate what crazy human food was being made in the hopes of being the taste tester. She always helped her human mother test noodles to ensure they were cooked properly. Lilly loved the snow, even when arthritis set in during her older years. She tried to live like a puppy despite her ailing age giving lots of stories for her human family. We know she is now on the Rainbow Bridge reunited with her fursister Spice, who passed just three years prior. Lilly will furever be missed by her family, but they take solace that she is no longer in pain and limited by her age, although she always tried to not let her loss of senses stop her.
