Hoss Kise-Brantley
Hoss Kise-Brantley , 11 of Indianapolis was a 121 lb American bulldog . Hoss passed away on May 2nd 2018 at Indy vet emergency & specialty hospital. Hoss was a dog unlike any other , he never knew he was a dog . Hoss belonged to my parents , then later my childhood friend became mine and my husbands life long companion , Hoss could withstand anything , pulled through some situations we never thought he would have, everyone that Hoss encountered with loved him, he was set in his ways, if he got mad at you he would spread trash through the house to show how mad he was, he would steal blankets & pillows and make his own bed out of what he had taken, he was far from your ordinary dog. A very smart boy with a personality you wouldn’t believe . He knew “sit , stay , paw , high five , lay” “McDonald’s and bye bye” had to be his favorite no matter what mood Hoss was in, he was always ready to take a McDonald’s trip, that’s where my dad played the biggest role, his life long best friend! Hoss hated taking walks, and if you messed with his tail. Bath time was never his favorite, but he sure would get cleaned if you told him he had company coming. He knew how to lock people out of rooms if he had the chance, just couldn’t unlock them! Hoss never missed a meal, and would always bark at any sound he would hear. He ended his last days with the family that he originally started with. Hoss went into an emergency vet on May 2nd, where we were told that he had something wrong that couldn’t be cured! The disc in his back had slid up on his spine causing him to not be able to walk anymore.
“I felt like I had a piece of my childhood back when Hoss reentered my life in 2015, I would always tell my husband stories about him, I never thought he would even have the chance to ever get to see him, let alone having him as his own pet with me! Hoss was truly a blessing to us all” he found his way back to where he belonged. Hoss sure had a long run & the ability to live so much longer if he didn’t have the condition he had. He will forever be missed and may his sweet soul rest eternally in heaven and he only feels as old as he is young.
Hoss is survived by original owners Charles & Kristy , current owners Jordan and Kayla , grandparents , aunts , cousins and many family & friends who loves him very much.
Hoss is proceeded in death by his sister China & step brother Ruger
