FENWAY LARSON – 5/2/2004 ~ 01/18/2014
Fenway came to us as a rescue at five months of age. He came to us as a tripod having lost his left rear leg due to some injury/accident. To see him run and play, you would never know he had a handicap. He could outrun any and all of his new bothers and sisters.
Fenway loved and lived life to the fullest. Everything he did, from swimming to eating was with a gusto that had to be admired. He was a registered therapy dog that was great working with kids in the Paws to Read programs and also was an inspiration to those recovering from severe injuries at one of the local rehab hospitals.
His real passion in life was fishing. He could spend hours down at the pond trying to catch fish. When he did occasionally snag one, he never tried to hurt or eat it, but would always take it up on the beach to keep it safe.
Your unexpected departure is overwhelming, but we take comfort in knowing you didn’t suffer a long illness. Fly free sweet Fenway, you were / are greatly loved.

Sandi and Dave,
I was so sorry to hear of Fenway\'s passing. He was such a sweet boy, and what a beautiful picture of him! I know you will miss him greatly. I can\'t believe how fast he could run and keep up with his brothers and sisters. No one would have guessed he had three legs the way he played. He has lots of Goldens, Shelties, Keeshonds and even some kitties to play with! Someday we will be reunited with all the wonderful pets we have lost.

Dave and Sandi:
I remember meeting little Fenway at the shelter with his then non-functioning leg. He was full of energy, but couldn\'t walk very well. After his surgery and time in your loving home, I saw him again. Running! Fishing! Swimming! Filled with joy. Thank you for giving Fenway his heaven on earth. I know you\'ll meet again.
