Bennie Simpson

Bennie left us July 7th at his home, he was 13.  Adopted at 6 1/2 he was always happy always smiling. He loved everyone and everyone loved him. He liked hogging the couch (many naps), loved treats, especially sharing Froot Loops with his dad. He would sit down on his back legs, with his feet sticking out, like a person, it was very cute. He enjoyed being outside, barking at everything that went by. He loved being chased, he would dance, and run around hiding. He was always happy when you caught him, he would smile and love on you. He hopped around like a bunny, and his fur was just as soft, he had a little Cottontail. He was a very sweet dog, he was very loving and comforting to us. He spent many years with his fur siblings, Thunder and Ellie, they are grieving his lost terribly. Benny’s last months were hard, having seizures and spells, leaving him lifeless. We would help him through it, comforting him. He would come around, sleep it off and be his happy little self again.  Unfortunately his little heart gave out, and God took him home. He is loved and missed by so many. We love and miss him beyond words, he will forever be in our hearts. He is Irreplaceable. I would do anything to have you back, to see you sitting up like a person. I wish I’d had you both, your whole lives, I could have loved you longer. Losing you has left an emptiness I’ve never dealt with. I truly love you and miss you terribly, you were my little buddy, my Benji. I’m sorry I couldn’t comfort you, when you passed away, I hope you know how much I loved you. I will never forget you, you will forever be in my heart.
