Homeward Bound Pet Memorial Care is locally owned and operated by Bob and Wanda Lamon and was created out of their desire to memorialize and honor the lives of pets belonging to friends and family members

Sensitivity and detail to service are the signature marks for Bob Lamon in his quest to provide meaningful closures for grieving pet owners.  Bob is one of a few licensed funeral directors that offers animal cremation and memorial services at Homeward Bound Pet Memorial Services, located at 3562 West 10th Street.

Bob decided to offer pet memorials after losing his own cat of 16 years. Bob and Wanda became frustrated with long delays of receiving their cat’s remains. Their pet meant a lot to them and the slow service seemed to trivialize the importance of their cat’s life.

Bob Lamon holds a State of Indiana funeral directors license and has over 30 years of funeral director and memorial service experience.

Angela studied Mortuary Science at Ivy Tech and has been serving the families of Indiana for 10 years.

She’s known she wanted to be in the Funeral Care industry since she was 10 years old.

When Angela isn’t at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 children, and 2 pit bulls, Peanut & Jynx.
